Blood Orange trees are highly productive and produce a sweet orange variety with a deep red flesh color. Cooler temperatures determine the depth of color in the fruit – the colder the temperature gets, the darker the fruit will be.
The Budd Blood Orange variety was developed specifically for the environment in Florida and produce the darkest fruit in the northern regions of the state.
