While we do offer 3 gallon trees to ship in Florida, unfortunately we aren’t able to have them available a lot of the time. We are not offering 3 gallon trees to ship out of state because of shipping challenges.
The Sanbokan tree is a rare hybrid citrus fruit originating from the Wakayama prefecture in Japan. The fruit has a very distinctive appearance, with a large basal nipple and rough, thick skin that peels much like a tangerine. The flavor profile is a mix between sweet orange and grapefruit, giving the Sanbokan a natural “lemonade” taste – the perfect mix of sweet and tart.
The Sanbokan is a late-season variety with fruit ripening in late fall-early spring. Sanbokan trees are relatively cold-hardy.
