A Centennial kumquat tree is a hardy, small evergreen tree known for its compact size and vibrant, glossy foliage. It produces small, oval-shaped fruits with a bright orange skin that is sweet and tangy, while the flesh inside is tart. The fruit is unique in that it can be eaten whole, with both the peel and pulp contributing to its distinct flavor. These trees are often grown for ornamental purposes as well as for their edible fruit, which is commonly used in marmalades, jellies, or as a snack.
