The Sugar Loaf mango is a distinctly tropical-flavored variety with strong coconut and pineapple notes - especially coconut when fully ripe. When picked slightly under-ripe, the pineapple flavor is more forward. The fruit's skin stays green throughout its ripening.

The Sugar Loaf is an extremely creamy variety due to a total lack of fiber in its flesh.

Due to their medium to large size, Sugar Loaf mango trees are not considered a good choice for growing in containers.
