The Sweet Tart mango is a southeast Asian variety that has a floral aromatic quality that is true to its origin. Its flavor is distinct and dependent upon when it is picked in its ripening process. True to its name, the fruit can either have a complex tartness when it is less ripe or less tart with a fairly intense sweetness and juiciness when it is more ripe. Unlike other southeast Asian mango varieties, Sweet Tart mangos are not spicy.

Due to their medium to large size, Sweet Tart mango trees are not considered a good choice for growing in containers.
