The Washington Navel Orange is one of the world's most famous fresh-eating oranges and has been delighting citrus lovers for over 150 years. Originally imported from Brazil to the United States in 1870, this classic variety became the foundation of California's citrus industry thanks to its exceptional sweetness, seedless fruit, and easy-to-peel rind.
Washington Navel Orange trees develop an attractive rounded canopy with gently drooping branches and produce abundant crops of juicy fruit each winter. Their outstanding flavor, virtually seedless flesh, and effortless peeling make them one of the best orange varieties for fresh snacking right from the tree.

Planting & Care

- Plant in a location that receives at least 6–8 hours of sunlight daily.
- Use well-draining soil or a quality citrus potting mix.
- Water consistently while the tree becomes established.
- Feed regularly with a citrus-specific fertilizer.
- Protect young trees from freezing temperatures.
