The Bearss Lemon is known for being an especially juicy lemon with a high concentration of lemon oil in its rind - great for juicing, cooking and zesting. Often found in grocery stores, its true lemon nature gives it a large, acidic and tart quality.
First grown in Florida in the early 1950s, the Bearss Lemon has since been a kitchen staple.
