The Carrie mango, developed by the Zill family in the 1940s, has a well established history as a backyard fruit tree. The fruits are small to medium and bountiful in their annual production.

Considered a dessert mango, the fruit's strong aroma and flavor profile is spice-heavy and especially appreciated in India and the Caribbean islands.

Due to their semi-dwarf size, Carrie mango trees are considered a good choice for growing in containers.
