Developed in Southern California in the mid-19th century, the Eureka lemon originated as a seedling grown from fruit of Italian origin. Due to its quick growth habit, thornlessness and everbearing nature, the Eureka lemon quickly became one of the most widely grown fresh lemon varieties in the United States and around the world.

Its purple-tinted new growth and steady production of eye-catching lemons make the Eureka a great ornamental variety. Along with looking great, your Eureka lemon tree will provide you with store quality lemons, year-round.

About Our Trees

How can I protect my tree from citrus greening and pests?

We highly recommend protecting your young trees from Asian psyllids and citrus greening (HLB) with a tree defender. For more information visit: www.thetreedefender.com

Should I mulch around my tree?

Do not pile mulch against the trunk. Excess moisture around the trunk can lead to decline, disease, and possible tree loss.
