The Dwarf Green banana variety grows into an especially short tree, at about 6 feet tall, when fully mature. The Cavendish type fruits are large, despite the smallness of the tree, and they have a sweet and creamy flavor and texture. The Dwarf Green is known to have thick leaves, which makes a wind-resistant tree and provides banana leaves that are great for cooking and wrapping.
Due to their small size, Dwarf Green banana trees are happy both in the ground or in a pot.
