A staple in Japanese cuisine, the Owari Satsuma is a sweet and tangy, juicy fruit is seedless with easy-to-peel skin. The trees are cold hardy and are able withstand brief periods down to the mid-20s, making them a great choice for areas that are prone to frosts.
Owari Satsuma trees are short as far as citrus goes (10 - 15' in ground), and they can be pruned to be even shorter, dense trees that do well in containers.
