The Bearss Lemon is a classic lemon variety prized for its abundant juice, bold citrus flavor, and highly aromatic rind. With a high concentration of lemon oil in its peel, this variety is a favorite for juicing, baking, cooking, and zesting. Its large, bright yellow fruit delivers the tart, refreshing flavor most people expect from a true lemon and is commonly found in grocery stores around the world.
First grown in Florida during the early 1950s, the Bearss Lemon has become a dependable favorite for home gardeners and chefs alike. This vigorous tree produces generous harvests during the second half of the year, making it an excellent addition to backyard orchards, edible landscapes, and container gardens.
