About Our Trees

How do I care for a Page Mandarin Tree?

Page Mandarin Trees thrive in full sun and well-draining soil. Water regularly while the tree becomes established and fertilize throughout the growing season with a citrus-specific fertilizer. Proper watering, seasonal feeding, and occasional pruning will help encourage healthy growth and abundant fruit production.

Is the Page Mandarin Tree a good choice for container growing?

Yes. Dwarf and semi-dwarf Page Mandarin Trees grow exceptionally well in large containers, making them ideal for patios, decks, and gardeners living outside the recommended outdoor growing zones. Container-grown trees can be moved indoors or to a protected location during freezing weather.

When can I expect my Page Mandarin Tree to produce fruit?

Most Page Mandarin Trees begin producing fruit within 2–3 years under proper growing conditions. Providing full sun, consistent watering, and routine fertilization will help your tree establish quickly and encourage dependable harvests year after year.

How can I protect my tree from citrus greening and pests?

We highly recommend protecting your young trees from Asian psyllids and citrus greening (HLB) with a tree defender. For more information visit: www.thetreedefender.com

Should I mulch around my tree?

Do not pile mulch against the trunk. Excess moisture around the trunk can lead to decline, disease, and possible tree loss.
